Fandom of 2012 Meme
1: What fandom did you acquire in 2012?
Arrow. American Horror Story. Castle. Dallas (2012). Necessary Roughness. Eureka. Ashes to Ashes.

2: What fandoms did you let go of in 2012?
C.S.I.. Two and a Half Men. Anger Management (yup, quickest acquired & let go ever – it’s pretty bad.) Ghost Hunters. Hoarders. Intervention. Modern Family.

3: What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn’t in 2012?
I think I saw a couple shows of Revolution and Nashville. Sadly, I just don’t have time to watch anything after 9pm anymore. The same with Person of Interest -- I wanted to get caught up for the second season but just never found the time.

4: What fandom do you intend on checking out in 2013?
I plan on trying to watch The Following. Ripper Street on BBCAmerica looks good as does Orphan Black. Also The Americans on FX shows promise.

5: What fandom do you think you might let go of in 2013 unless things significantly improve?
Hmmm, at the moment, only Once Upon A Time comes to mind. I don’t know…this season just has not been that great. I haven’t watched the last few episodes yet but I’ve been off for winter break and haven’t felt the need to see them.

6: What fandom do you think you’ll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Supernatural - I don’t know. I’ve been with it this long—I’m staying until the end.
psych - love the cast, the writing – again until it’s cancelled, I’ll be watching.
Sons of Anarchy - even though I’m not happy with the way the current season ended, I have about a nine-month wait until the next season and I’ll be over the hate by then. Stuck with The Shield until the end, I’ll see this all the way to it’s definitely bloody ending.
The Walking Dead - I read the comic so I know where it sort of is going and – it has zombies, so enough said.

7: What show(s) impressed you most in 2012?
Fringe. I am so happy this show got a final season to tie everything up. This show just rocks. Only three more hours left and will miss it horribly when it’s gone.
General Hospital. Finally! The show kicked Bob Guza to the curb. At first, I wasn’t happy to see the OLTL characters on GH, but I’ve actually enjoyed having them on especially Todd. What impressed me most is Ron and Frank bringing back old-time faves such as Lucy Coe, Faison, Robert Scorpio, and Duke Lavery. The tribute to John Ingle’s passing with Edward and Lila doubles walking up the stairs of the Quartermaine mansion into the ‘light’ was heartbreaking beautiful. Next up - a return of the Nurses Ball and more old-time faves coming back. For the first time in many years, I’m actually looking forward to watching the show on a daily basis.

8: What show impressed you the least in 2012?
Newsroom. I like Jeff Daniels. And I liked the overall premise of the show. The first episode was amazing. But the few shows I watched afterwards were just not as entertaining to me. And I guess I was just tired of any show that dealt with politics.
